What is PayPal?
PayPal is the secure site that handles all of my website transactions. Anyone can create an account and easily send money using a credit card or bank account. Shipping
How long will it take to receive my products?
I ship as quickly as I can! I hate to wait for my goodies, so I don't want to make you wait for yours. I usually ship within one business day of receiving a cleared payment. Once your item has been shipped I will inform you via email. Most shipments will be delivered within 3-5 business days in the continental United States. If for any reason your shipment is going to be delayed I will notify you via email as soon as possible.

How will my products be packaged?
I package your items with the utmost care. Most paper products like prints, stickers, magnets, bookmarks, etc. are placed in a protective plastic sleeve to protect from moisture. Items are then sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard to protect from bending. I have sent out hundreds of packages and have never had any damage reported to me. I want your products to arrive safely and in perfect condition!

The usual shipping time for First Class is 2-5 business days. International orders are generally shipped USPS First Class International. The estimated time for International packages is 7-10 days. Please note that these are estimated times from the postal service. Once I mail the package, I have absolutely no control over how fast your package will get to you.

Do you combine shipping costs for purchases of more than one item?
Absolutely! Any items purchased in the same order will be mailed together at no extra cost! I charge shipping per order, not per item.

Prints and Paintings
What medium do you use on your paintings?
Almost all of my paintings are done in watercolor and ink. I use 140lb. hot press Arches watercolor paper which is a very thick and durable watercolor paper. I use brown Calli waterproof ink to draw my line-work with, and finish the painting with Winsor and Newton watercolor paints. What sizes do you offer your prints in?
As of now, I offer prints in three sizes: ACEO (2.5x3.5"), 5x7", and 8x10". If you see an image that you would like in a different size than what is available in my store please contact me with your request and I will do my best to accommodate your request!

The ACEO movement originally started on eBay with well-known artists offering smaller and more affordable pieces of art to the community. ACEOs are the size of a regular trading card, so they look great in a collector's album or hung on the wall in a frame. The ACEO movement continued to grow because of the affordability and the versatility of the paintings and they are now in very high demand and are one of the biggest trends in art collectibles.

Yes, most definitely!! I offer custom paintings through this site as well as my Etsy stores. These custom paintings are a little more like a structured commission. I feel like a lot of people are intimidated when requesting a commission because they have no idea where to start, which is why I created custom paintings. When you purchase a custom painting, I send you a form to fill out with specific questions like clothing, hair type, wing type, etc. so that it can make the process a little less daunting.
If you know exactly what you want and would rather do a commission, just send me an email detailing what you want and I will send you a rough estimate.

I'm so sorry, but I cannot offer my products or art for free, nor am I able to do trades. Creating art and selling products is my livelihood. I wish that I had all the time in the world to make things for free to hand out or to do trades with other very talented artists, but unfortunately I don't. It is nothing personal, so please don't ever take offense when I say no.

What are your usage terms? Can I use your artwork for my fansite, signature, tubes, tags, etc.?
First off, thank you for taking the time to read my usage terms. Many people believe that everything on the internet is fair game, and that it's ok to snag any picture and use it for any purpose. This is not the case. Please understand that I am a self-representing artist and creating and selling art is my livelihood. Using my artwork in an unauthorized way is illegal. You are stealing if you use my art in a way that I do not allow and necessary actions will be taken. Please read the following descriptions to see when you may and may not use my art:

I do not allow free use of my graphics in any way. I do not allow art to be used on tubes, tags, and sigs. I am currently licensed with Creative Design Outlet. Because of this contract, I am not allowed to offer free use of my images in any way shape or form. If you are interested in using my art for a tube, tag or sig be sure to check out my CDO page. My images are available for personal digital use at this site for a very small fee!
Pixel Dolls
I would be absolutely honored if you wanted to make a pixel doll based on my artwork! I think that pixel dolls are absolutely adorable and I really enjoy the art form. If you do use my artwork to create a pixel doll, please credit me by putting © Nikki Burnette by the image and also link back (click-able link if possible) to www.aurella-art.com.
