Grayscale Coloring Product Reviews
I have done a TON of testing for my grayscale coloring book and printable grayscale pages. I have found that some products and brands work brilliantly over grayscale, while others didn't perform as well. I also received a lot of questions during my testing process, so I thought I would share my experiences with everyone and offer my opinions on what works well over grayscale!
I think I learned more than anything during my testing that coloring materials are definitely a personal preference. There is not one "end all be all" paper, marker or pencil that you MUST use for coloring over grayscale. They all had their pros and cons and there are a lot of different factors such as cost, color variety, durability, ease of use, etc...
So I wanted to present my opinions to you, but I invite you to "try before you buy" when possible or purchase individual pencils/markers to make sure you enjoy them before buying large sets. And I by no means tested every brand available, but if you've been debating between some of these brands or are curious what it will look like coloring over grayscale with a brand that you currently have, I hope that this will provide some insight!
